Me
Currently I am Non-Traditional 27 year old student attending the University of Central Arkansas. I am in my final semester of pursuing my Bachelors in Marketing. I am an experienced young professional whose has achieved the balance of obtaining an education and gaining experience through corporate America. I consider myself a fairly simple person with not too much excitement in life.

My Passions
I am passionate about three specifics areas, my ministry, my career, and my development. First is my ministry, I am believer in the body of Jesus Christ and I have been since 2000. Since 2004 I have been involved in leading different high school ministries; with my current passion towards domestic and foreign missions and getting our students plugged into what God is doing across the world. My second passion is my career, in which I take a great amount of pride in what I have accomplished and what I continue to undertake. I have been working since the age of 16, from fast food to banking to technology companies. My third passion is my development as I enjoy learn more and more about different things from the latest technology to military history to the latest business strategies.

The Blog
The inspiration for this blog will come from my past and future experiences in these disciplines to help provide my readers different insights about as to what I consider to being successful tips. Posts will range from business and leadership tactics to the areas of technologies the provide success. Occasionally, I my post some off the wall topics just to gain a different perspective.

What's Next?....Going the Extra Mile

So you have your degree now, what’s next? You find that nice eight to five job with great benefits but now you want something more, something bigger, something better; what’s next? You could go for your Master’s, but everyone is getting a Master’s these days. How about getting certified in your discipline or an area of interest? As I mentioned in my About Me section, I am finishing up my final semester of college obtaining a bachelor’s in business. I also mention that I have been in the workforce for about 10 years where I have to learn that having a bachelor’s degree is just not enough in order to take your career to the next level. Dang it!! I can't find it...

Several times when surfing the net I often stumble upon websites that have huge, Grand Canyon size, marketing gaps that are super easy to fix but are never fixed. These gaps are not some elaborate textbook marketing theory techniques or fabulous design colors and typography; it is simply general information about the business. It is information such as phone numbers, mission statements, profiles on About Us pages, hours of operations, location, event dates, and plenty more. I relate the lack of this information to my days working back at McDonald’s. As managers one thing we are instructed to pay close attention to is the cleanliness of the restrooms.
